"The built environment is not only composed of buildings but also activities, atmospheres and stories. Our project reflects on the temporality of actions and their traces on the urban fabric: our goal was to reconnect the 'functional voids' existing within the city of Makarska through an organic intervention to create a new urbanity for the local population and tourists. Preserving the atmosphere and materiality of the site and implementing a new vegetal system, FishingNETwork! aims to become a platform for creating new stories in Makarska."
