The 13 juries for the 12th session of EUROPAN have made their choice amongst the 1,762 projects submitted for the competition on 51 sites in 16 different European countries. The winning teams are officially announced on December 13th, 2013, and posted online on www.europan-europe.eu

The juries named 106 prize-winning teams, 43 winning teams, 63 runner-up teams and 64 special mentions. 
The 106 winning teams are based in 19 different countries – 50% of them won in their country of residence; half the teams hence won abroad, confirming the willingness of young professionals to tackle a context outside their experience. The teams that were most motivated to compete abroad come from Spain (15 teams out of the 21 winning teams based in Spain won a prize on a foreign site), France (12 teams out of 25), Italy (10 out of 14) and the Netherlands (5 out of 11).

TEAMS PORTRAITS AND EXHIBITION
During 2014 teams’ portraits will also be published online. An exhibition of all the winning projects will be set up for the Inter-sessions Forum in September 2014 in Pavia (IT), which will give municipalities and young teams from different countries the opportunity to exchange at a European scale.

EUROPEAN CATALOGUE RESULTS

The European Results Catalogue will present the winning projects (winners, runners-up, special mentions) classified by country and site, with the winning teams’ and juries’ points of view. The sites will be presented from the site representatives’ points of view. Experts will analyse the results from the angle of the innovating proposals on the session topic (The Adaptable City: chrono-urbanism, city/nature rhythms, implementation processes…) The catalogue will be available online from June 2014. A copy will be sent to every winning team.
