At the territorial level, the system consists of an abstract tool, capable of creating a geometric network within the territory. Its use allows for different types of organization as well as for changes in the network, creating solutions for different urban situations. All of the urban elements will be created from the geometric organization.
In the definition of the urban level, a set of rules will provide guidelines for the formal configuration of the urban areas without emphasis on the types of architecture to be employed. This would permit flexibility and allow for the project to be developed over time, only needing to follow the already established guidelines.
The third level of the Open Code corresponds to the architectural level, which consists of multiple possibilities. The housing is characterized by six pairs of variables that will define its use allowing for maximum flexibility.
The proposed system functions at the different levels (territorial, city, and architectural) by means of overlapping networks providing a flexible, adaptable and multifunctional structure during the entire developmental process.

This project is connected to the following themes
Mobility - Social Fields
Overlapping networks provide a maximum of flexibility of the development, creating an open field in which only the basic elements are predefined, leaving space for individual configurations and surprising promenades, a small-scale adaptation of the Manhattan grid.
Housing - Ways of life
The small houses are generated as a combination of different variables, combined in a matrix, so that each decision produces an individual result reflecting the choices of the residents.
