Europan 9 Pistoia

runner-up

European Urbanity as a search for a formal definition, with a clear and concluded form. - Sustainable City to force the relationship between concentration and rarefaction, construction and nature. - Innovation of Public Spaces as vast space, element of expression and control of the relationship between city and territory. - Sustainability is to find an intervention scale this separation can be obliterate in, the scale where city and territory can appear together. Slowly it appears a vision of a place with a creek, Medicean walls, an artesanal compound, the cathedral, the Florence-Lucca line, an highway, a great loggia precinct…  (the THIRD ELEMENT).
