Social and urban problems encompass partial visions of the environment, which let focus on the specific problem to give a specific and local solution. In Tafalera, the proposed program is to convert the old warehouse into a new social center for the inhabitants. The rental contract includes social housing, always linked to the commercial and industrial spaces on the ground floor. This initiative is followed by other socially focused integration programs, including the development of a flower market, a cemetery to generate local jobs, or the creation of commercial activities linked with “paseo de Tafalera” to enhance the connection with the city. In Numancia, public space and the street are understood as a living places and social spaces. “… Reconsidering the beauty of the spontaneous.”
