The proposal is to regenerate the former lakeside at “Léopold-Robert” quay. As a new interpretation of the alley, the linear element becomes a defining feature of the area. The pattern of trees links the lake and the city. The spaces amongst the trees can be adapted to temporary needs and help to set the required scale of the park.
The new university buildings are a continuation of the “Campus” and open onto the park. The multifunctional building on the harbour is distinguished by its accessible roof, which looks like an additional level. With its filigree load-bearing structure, the building can also be seen as an interpretation of the spacing trees.
The versatile complex, with the lakeside promenade and pattern of trees, gives the “Jeunes Rives” site an entirely new look.

This project is connected to the following themes
Shared spaces - Intensification by superposition
Here, the revitalisation of the lake shore is achieved by the construction of a multifunctional linear building surmounted by a public space offering a view over the landscape.
Nature - Proximity / Horizon
The proposal uses the extensive tree coverage to create threshold affects in contact with the shores of the lake. The horizon is gradually unveiled as one travels through the park, or can be encompassed at a single glance from the accessible roof of the harbour building.
